About
I am a self-taught guitarist with more than 10 years of experience in performing and creating music. I have performed many songs of different genres and languages with various singers at places such as Holiday Inn, Bistro@Duo, Wallich Bar, Esplanade, Scape, NUS Open House, NTU Open House and SMU Starry Nite. I used to run a wedding band called AGOPSG (www.agopsg.com) and learnt basic music production in 2018. Feel free to connect with me for any collaborations and performances.
My Works
Compositions, originals and covers since 2005. Most of which are are done while I was still new to music and learning the guitar.
Original Compositions (2018)
I fell in and out of love this year with someone whom I even had the audacity to want to marry. Herein lies original compositions written about the people I met and the experiences I had with them in 2018. The 'Love Is All You Need To Understand' is a track written for my mum who passed on 13 December 2015.
Heavier Things (2012)
Includes a cover of 'Night Train' by Guns n Roses, 'Another Day' by Dream Theater as well as 3 original compositions that I arranged with my glam rock band back in 2011 when we are all Skid Row, Motley Crue wannabes.
Thoughts In Motion (2012)
The Thoughts In Motion (2012) album is a collection of ambience music each reflecting certain qualities and thoughts. The album got it's name from the motion of thoughts through music - an expression of feelings in a different medium of tunes and melodies. All mixing and recording was done using POD X3 Live and audacity.
Clean Snippet Series (2011)
I made this album while I was undergoing depression. I was being bullied in school and suicide was a probable consideration every day. The Clean Snippet Series is a collection of short snippets of melody stringed and pieced together. It adopts the layered approach of slotting tracks on top of one another. Only one instrument is used in the entire series. Bear in mind that I was only 19 when I recorded all of this with no background in the recording or editing of tracks.
